CARL BAGUHN offers turnkey solutions for retrofitting existing HFO/Diesel engines for dual-fuel and Otto-cycle operation with LNG or natural gas, tailored to each customer‘s demand. Several technical conversion levels are available. In all cases as much as possible original engine components stay untouched, so reliability is not affected.
The conversion projects are executed in close alignment with relevant authorities and by involvement of first-class engineering knowledge and well-accepted Tier 1 component suppliers. Component modifications are carried out by ISO 9001 quality monitoring and documentation.
Project management by experienced inhouse staff care for a smooth execution. 3D-scans of engine room arrangements and components are the basis for the planning. New and modified components are provided to the project needs on time, so that the engine down time is reduced to the minimum.
